Our organization was established in the year 2010 at Katkol, Belagavi district, Karnataka. We tirelessly strive to educate the women of katkol and empower them with skill training so that they can lead a life with confidence and at par. Aims to develop the health and well-being of children infected and affected by AIDS in Belagavi. Our NGO is working to enrich the lives of those affected by HIV/AIDS and provide shelter to orphans. They also inspire other patients to fight the disease through various initiatives.Around 30+ HIV affected people benefited from our organization.
Our organization envisions to enable specially challenged and underprivileged children to live an independent and dignified life to lead a better tomorrow and to work towards the women empowerment.
To reach every person with specially-challenged and HIV/AIDS affected people in Karnataka and to see to that they are being provided with all sorts of facilities. To work towards the betterment and the welfare of the women by giving them skill training and other placements for their better life.
Personality Development Training
From 20-12-2020 to 27-12-2020, a personality development training program for young women and men was conducted free of charge. More than 80 people participated and made the program a success
A workshop was conducted by Educational professionals to prepare videos for children so that the lessons to children can be taught effectively online during this Covid times which is definitely a great initiative by the NGO
Doctor's Day Program
As part of the Doctors' Day on 01-07-2020, a festive program was organized by the Katana Vigilance Women's Society for all the staff of taluk doctors and their staff who were working hard all day.
International Yoga day
The Yogasana program was organized by the Chaitanya Women's Society of Katakkola on the guidance of Yoga Teacher Sri Sanjaya Bhajantri on 21-06-2020 at the Chaitanya Residential School, Katakola, World Yoga Day.
Residential Care for HIV Children
HIV impacted children - Residential care at Shivabasava Nagar near Chidambara Temple, Gokak. Currently houses 10 children aged 6 to 10 years. HIV children are socially ostracized children. We provide shelter, enable them to go to school, focus on motivational camps. We skill them for future employment abilities
Flood Support for 170 Families
Flood Support - 170 families - In August 2019 CWS team provided food, shelter, healthcare and water for 15 days from Aug 5th to Aug 20th to affected people in Mudalagi and Gokak Taluk
HIV Camp -110 attendees.
HIV Camp - Camp was conducted on 27-04-2019 till 29-04-2019 at Betageri. 110 HIV affected children from all over the nearby districts attended. The camp was focused on safety, security issues to enable them to lead a normal life.
